Description: This position is responsible for participating in the mechanical repair and maintenance of city vehicles and equipment.
Fleet Technician I
Hiring Salary Range: $55,520 to $64,500.
Requirements:
• Recent graduate of a related collegiate trade school in automotive technology or diesel technology
• Experience preferred, not required.
Fleet Technician II
Hiring Salary Range: $58,331 to $71,000
Requirements:
• Current ASE Master Technician Certification in Automotive and/or Truck categories
• Emergency Vehicle Certified Technician, Law Enforcement and/or Fire Apparatus backgrounds
• Minimum 2 years work experience required.
• Class B with air brake endorsement or more. Preferred, not required.
