Box Office Cashier I

Under the direction of the Ticket Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for handling ticket sales and providing customer service for all ticketed events at the Bismarck Event Center and Belle Mehus Auditorium. The Box Office Cashier is responsible for communicating event information, including seating options, pricing, and show details, to assist guests in making their selections. Evening and weekend availability is required.

• Operate the ticketing system efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of event details, including event dates and ticket prices.
• Understand seating charts and arena configurations for each event.
• Process ticket transactions and handle payments (cash and credit).
• Greet customers with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Manage phone inquiries and assist customers with event information.
• Reconcile and balance cash at the end of each shift.
